1. POSI 5335 must be completed.
2. A written prospectus must be handed in for approval on time. See prospectus handout.
3. An electronic copy is okay.  Send as ms word file.  File name should be "last name prospectus.doc".
4. The prospectus will be given one of three approval ratings.

a) Approved Your registration is in good standing. I will accept the literature review first draft (the second step on the timeline).

b) Marginal approval Your registration is in good standing. (You do not have to drop.) The prospectus, however, has a few minor problems. You will be asked to address the concerns by either 1) a memo addressing the problems identified; or 2) rewrite the prospectus. Indicate changes added as bold or highlighted. Revisions must be back to me in a week.

c) Revise and resubmit The prospectus must be resubmitted with the necessary changes. The revised prospectus did not meet minimum standards. The prospectus must be revised and resubmitted. The revised prospectus must be turned in within two weeks of the original deadline. If you do not make this deadline you must drop. In addition, there is no guarantee that the revised version will meet my standards. Generally, proposals that receive this status are approved on the second try.
