The Horticultural Business option of the Agricultural Business and Management major provides students with the scientific and production skills needed in the Horticulture industry in addition to the business and management skills necessary to be effective managers and entrepreneurs in various aspects of the industry. Students gain experience not only in the classroom, but also in the department's rooftop greenhouses. Students also have the opportunity to be part of the Florticulture National Honor Society, Pi Alpha Xi and the Texas State Horticulture Club, Hortus Colere.
