Checklist - TV News

Go to website http://www.txstate.edu/~me04/news23.htm to find out what your assignments are for the week. Dress appropriately, if you're the reporter.

12:30 p.m. M-Th.   On days when you're assigned to report or shoot video, you must attend a 12:30 story conference with me and the executive producers (unless prior approval has been given to a story).

Stories that are approved are assigned a SLUG, which is written on the board in the computer lab. Any references to your story -- on the scripts, the file names in the newscast and teleprompter folders, the video clip and the producer's rundown -- must have the exact letters of your assigned slug.
