Teaching
Objectives: Provide
Texas State undergraduates with high-quality education in Industrial
Engineering topics such as operations research, simulation, engineering
economy, methods engineering and ergonomics and quality control. I expect that
students gain a solid understanding of these topics so they feel motivated to
apply them in their future careers. Serve
as a role model and mentor for women in the Engineering program so they can
encourage other women to pursue careers in engineering and related
fields. |
Research
Objectives: Contribute
with solutions to Operations Research (OR) problems that arise in logistics
such as transportation, inventory, warehousing, facility location, and
scheduling applying stochastic and dynamic programming techniques. Investigate the impact of solving large scale OR problems under
parallel and distributed computing environments. I have
also interests in Industrial Engineering problems related to statistics,
quality control, queuing theory, and simulation. |
