Short background:
Charles Johnson is a former chairman and retired Associate Professor of Texas State University Department of Health Services Research. He created and primarily taught in the Texas State graduate program in Health Services Research, and has focused in the area of health care market research and management science applications in healthcare. He taught a variety of courses in statistics, management science, decision support systems, and health care computer applications; not to mention market research. He continues as a private consultant for market research and quality improvement in healthcare.


Areas of research include market area analysis, small area analysis, efficency in health care (DEA applications), and outcomes research.
