Mr. Amjad
Mohammed, is a native speaker of Arabic. He was born in Jordan where
he received his B.A. in English language and literature. He then
joined the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received his
Masters degree in linguistics. Amjad is currently working on finishing his
dissertation for his PhD in linguistics. While attending the
University of Texas in 2002 , Amjad was hired in the Arabic unit at
the department of Middle Eastern Studies where he worked as a
teaching assistant. Based on his excellent performance, he was then
hired by the department to teach Arabic classes. He taught from 2002
to 2006. During his work at UT, Amjad developed excellent techniques
in teaching Arabic language and Arabic culture. He conducted many
cultural workshops at the school of business at the University of
Texas and was invited to speak for Arabic students at Princeton
University. Amjad is the author of the widely visited Arabic website
