Welcome to the

Polymer Preprints

  information site.

Polymer Preprints is a biannual publication of the American Chemical Society's Division of Polymer Chemistry.  It is published in conjunction with the ACS Fall and Spring National meetings.  What are preprints?  Preprints are 1-2 page documents including graphic images and nomenclature. Submission of a preprint is required by the Polymer Division for presenting authors.  Division members in good standing are granted online access to preprints prior to national meetings. Abstracts are approximately 150-word descriptions of the research that will be presented in a technical paper. Abstracts usually do not include graphic images. Abstract text alone is not sufficient for submission as a preprint to the Polymer Division.

The Polymer Division has chosen to "phase out" printed books  & CD's (except to library subscriptions and by special order) and now offer web-searchability of preprints to members and non-member subscribers.  Contact the ACS Office of Division Programs for specific information about any of the ACS technical divisions.

If assistance or information is needed regarding Polymer Preprints or the Polymer Division please feel free to

contact us.
