Welcome to the Polymer Preprints information site. Polymer Preprints is a biannual publication of the American Chemical Society's Division of Polymer Chemistry. It is published in conjunction with the ACS Fall and Spring National meetings. What are preprints? Preprints are 1-2 page documents including graphic images and nomenclature. Submission of a preprint is required by the Polymer Division for presenting authors. Division members in good standing are granted online access to preprints prior to national meetings. Abstracts are approximately 150-word descriptions of the research that will be presented in a technical paper. Abstracts usually do not include graphic images. Abstract text alone is not sufficient for submission as a preprint to the Polymer Division. The Polymer Division has chosen to "phase out" printed books & CD's (except to library subscriptions and by special order) and now offer web-searchability of preprints to members and non-member subscribers. Contact the ACS Office of Division Programs for specific information about any of the ACS technical divisions.
