Certification with a Master of Education Degree (CMED)
The CMED program is designed for individuals with a non-education undergraduate degree who wish to pursue initial teacher certification (in early childhood through fourth grade or fourth through eighth grade) with a Master's degree.
Students must pass a comprehensive exam during the final semester of their Master's degree program. CMED students also must take TExES tests for certification.
