PERSONAL INTERVIEW
Directions
Interns are expected to interview an
executive with the company. This person can be in your company, in your particular store,
at the home, regional or district office, or someone that does business with your company. Ideally, the person is someone that you would
aspire to be. Set up a time with this
individual for an interview. Before the
interview, organize your agenda. Do not
give the person you are interviewing the questions and expect them to answer
them for you. They may see the
questions, but you, the intern, must take good notes.
In your
paper, describe the job this person performs and explain the qualifications and training
necessary for this position as outlined below. Begin
the paper with the name and title of the executive and the name and location of the
company. Also give the date, location and
beginning and ending times of the interview.
Use
the following outline to guide your discussion.
Add paragraphs under each entry in the outline to provide a detailed
description of the responses you received.
The
report must be neat, typed and well organized. Organize your personal interview report
according to the following outline:
